What is a CR2 file?
CR2 – Canon RAW photo. CR2 is a RAW photo format from Canon: the data straight from the camera's sensor, before it is turned into a JPG. It keeps more detail to adjust, but needs a RAW converter to be opened.

- CR2 files are developed on our server with the camera's own white balance, then saved as PNG. Expect a good-looking picture, not a replacement for your RAW editor.
- Tick Remove metadata in Options to leave out information stored in the picture, such as the camera and the place.
