- The EPUB e-book is converted by calibre. Copy-protected (DRM) e-books cannot be converted: ConvertKitty does not remove DRM, so use books you have bought without it or that are free of it.
- The PDB e-book is made by calibre from the text, headings and pictures of the EPUB file; a cover is not created.

Will the PDB look the same as the EPUB?
The text, chapters and pictures are kept. The look can differ: PDB readers use their own fonts and page sizes, so page breaks move.
