CSV – Comma-separated values. CSV (comma-separated values) is plain text with one row of a table on each line and the cells separated by commas, semicolons or tabs. Every spreadsheet, database and programming language reads it, but it holds only values: no formulas, formatting or several sheets.

- The separator (comma, semicolon, tab or pipe) and the text encoding are detected, so files saved by spreadsheet programs in other countries open correctly. Numbers and dates are recognised; leading zeros in numbers are dropped.
- Each page becomes a picture. A document with more than one page comes back as a ZIP with a JPG for each page, drawn at 150 dots per inch unless you choose otherwise in Options.
- The text in the pictures cannot be selected or searched.

Will the JPG look the same as the CSV?
The pages keep their text, pictures and layout. A CSV file that uses fonts the converter does not have is shown with similar ones, so lines can break in different places.
