RAW – Camera RAW photo. RAW is a generic extension several camera makers use for the data straight from the sensor. The layout differs from maker to maker, so a program has to know the camera to turn the file into a picture.

How large can the RAW file be?

Can I change the size or quality of the BMP?
Yes. Click Options next to the file to set a width and height, choose a quality, remove metadata and more. Only the settings that make sense for RAW to BMP are shown.
