- The CBR e-book is converted by calibre. Copy-protected (DRM) e-books cannot be converted: ConvertKitty does not remove DRM, so use books you have bought without it or that are free of it.
- A comic book is a picture for each page, so the LRF holds the pictures, not text.
- LRF is Sony's old format: pictures are reduced and some styles are simplified.
- The LRF e-book is made by calibre from the text, headings and pictures of the CBR file; a cover is not created.
