Good to know
- The PPSX file is opened by LibreOffice, not by Microsoft Office. Text, tables, pictures and ordinary charts convert accurately; effects such as SmartArt, animations, some chart styles and fonts LibreOffice does not have can look different from Office, so check a complex file before relying on it.
- Each slide becomes a page of the same shape as the slide. Animations, transitions and speaker notes are not in a PDF.
- A slide show is a presentation that opens straight into the show; the slides are converted as they are.
- Choose which pages to convert in Options, for example 1-3,5.
- Tick PDF/A in Options for a file meant for long-term archiving: it embeds its fonts and avoids features that may stop working in future.
