- The font is converted by FontForge: the letter shapes, spacing and kerning are kept. Hinting (the instructions that sharpen small text) is made again or left out, which modern screens do not show.
- Only an SVG font can be converted, a file whose letters are <glyph> shapes inside a <font>. An SVG drawing is not a font. For safety, references to other files in the SVG are left out.
- Check the font's licence before converting and using it: ConvertKitty does not look at what the licence allows.
